Starting on the AWS Certification Journey as a Frontend Dev

As technology continues to evolve at breakneck speed, cloud computing has emerged as an indispensable part of the IT landscape. Amazon Web Services (AWS), one of the leading cloud service providers, offers an array of powerful tools and services that have revolutionized how businesses operate and scale their operations. As a frontend developer, diving into the world of AWS certification can be a trans-formative experience, enhancing my skills, career prospects, and overall understanding of cloud technologies.

I have been primarily focused on crafting user interfaces, user experiences, and handling client-side interactions. However, the cloud's ubiquity has shifted the landscape, making it essential for developers to understand cloud computing concepts, particularly as frontend applications increasingly integrate with cloud services. The reasons for that are: versatility, career advancement, industry recognition, and seamless integration.

The first step in this journey is to acquire my AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification. I’m not sure how easy or hard it’ll be, but if a bunch of people can do it, then I can do it. Plus, I’ve acquired a bunch of knowledge from studying to get my Azure Certification. I purchased a course on Udemy to help with the learning and sticking to 30 minutes a day for the first week.

Furthermore, I plan to use this blog now to catalog my journey to getting my AWS certification. I really want to get this done, and soon. Blogging about it will help me.

This is the Udemy course I am taking: here
